Joe Badger is a professional guitarist, songwriter and teacher based in Surrey. After being told in school at 6 years old he would never be a musician. Joe has since gone on to play sold out Arena tours supporting bands such as One Direction, as well as earning a guitar degree in professional music performance at The Academy Of Contemporary Music (ACM) – 2:1.
For the last 10 years Joe has been working with lots of different original artists as well as performing in professional covers bands all over the UK, UAE and Europe. Bands include “Beat Junkie” www.beat-junkie.co.uk and “Folk Junkies” www.folkjunkiesband.com.
Whilst maintaining a busy performance schedule of up to 75 – 100 gigs a year, Joe has been teaching guitar privately after school for all ages from beginners right up to advanced level. The main three areas Joe works on with students are technique, repertoire and theory. Also covering Rockschool and Trinity Graded Exams, Joe has a 100% high pass rate with students.
Joe is a very reliable and motivated Musician, whose love and passion for music has driven him to aim to be a top professional in his trade.

Alongside being a successful working guitarist. Joe has 10 years of teaching experience under his belt, teaching students from all ages after school and group performance workshops. Joe covers all the main contemporary styles and focuses on technique, repertoire and theory, as well working on graded exams with students if they wish.
Joe tries to make teaching and music as fun as possible whist trying to get the best out of his students by keeping them inspired.
